Description
The project aims to assist commuters and drivers in route planning to ensure a safer and more comfortable travelling experience in Karachi. It involves the creation of a preliminary Android application for collecting triaxial accelerometer, gyroscope, and GPS smartphone sensor data. This Karachi-specific dataset is then utilized to develop a road classification system that can detect road anomalies, such as potholes. The results of this classification system are displayed on a map, which users can access to view and decide which roads to use.
